While New Orleans is certainly well known for it’s food; when you cram a ton of people into our small space downtown there will undoubtably be long lines and increased frustration as people try to get a little nourishment.   • Killer Poboys – in the Erin Rose on Conti right off of Bourbon.
  • St. Lawrence – on North Peters, serve late night.
  • We’ve Got Soul – Friday pop up in Marie’s on Burgundy.
  • Sylvain – wonderful food right off of Jackson Square.
  • Root – over in the Warehouse District they’ve got some great, inventive options. Cohiba scallops!!
  • Green Goddess – Right in the Quarter near Monteleone. May be mobbed, figured we’d mention it.
  • EAT – great little spot with some lighter fare to choose from.
  • Central Grocery – on Decatur. Probably will be ridiculously packed…
  • Felipe’s – on Decatur; in/out mexican.
  • El Gato Negro – right near the French Market; terrific margaritas.
  • Taceaux Loceaux – will be uptown. If you’re uptown, track ’em down @tlnola
  • Stein’s Deli – Magazine & Jackson. Get the reuben!
  • St. James Cheese Shop – Prytania. Sandwiches & salads to die for.
  • Company Burger – Freret St. – best burgers ever!
  • Maurepas Foods – in the Marigny; cocktails are terrific. Our favorite is the goat tacos w/a side of creamy grits.
  • Toups Meatery – up near City Park on Carrollton.
  • Atchafalaya – scallops for dinner or grits & grillades for brunch.
  • Dick & Jenny’s – right near Tips; great dinner spot pre-show.
  • Martinique – up near Whole Foods on Magazine. It’s wonderful. Definitely more upscale.
  • Coquette – on Magazine; upscale and delicious.
