Race + Religious), as well as a few of our favorite vendors.Fast forward over a year and a LOT of conversations with Jonathan, or as Abbey affectionately referred to him, Bridezilla. Their wedding weekend was filled with love, laughter, joy, and a few space heaters (but no rain!). It was chilly the night of their wedding, but most of their guests were from New York City and the Midwest, and of course, Race + Religious has a lot of nooks & cranny’s inside and out that people were able to find a spot that was comfortable. It really was a magical evening; one that everyone enjoyed. The ceremony, conducted by Alice Solloway, was sweet and romantic; the second line, directly after the ceremony, led by the legendary Storyville Stompers was a highlight for many out of town guests unfamiliar with the tradition; Elizabeth Ray, who effortlessly photographed so many great moments throughout the day; the food & drink stations that leveraged both kitchens as well as some spots outside, provided by Palate, was delicious; the entertainment, a group of total pros who were organized by Craig Klein not to mention a wonderful performance by one of Jonathan’s closest friends, Jon Gros; Luminous Events who provided all the gorgeous lighting; and of course, Kim Starr Wise – who never ceases to amaze us with her floral ninja skills. All these vendors make our job easy. Here are just a few of our favorite moments from that evening.[slickr-flickr tag=”jonathanandabbey” id=”[email protected]″]]]
