Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans’ big gala in New York City at the Angel Orensanz; affectionately called “Voulez Vous”. This was Clandestine’s first big event outside of New Orleans and we pulled it all together in the midst of a snowstorm that wouldn’t quit.La Clandestine Absinthe Bar ©Patrick McMullanDespite the weather, the event itself was absolutely amazing – with food prepared by a great chef pairing: Chef Justin Devillier at La Petite Grocery in New Orleans, and MegGeorge Porter, Jr. of the Funky Meters ©Patrick McMullanGrace at the Redhead in Manhattan. Our cocktails included generous donations from Sorel, an hibiscus flavored cocktail (delicious!) and La Clandestine absinthe (devilishly decadent). Antoine Drye performed at the patron party, followed by the legendary Funky Meters. It was a sensational line up!!Our floral and feather arrangements were provided by Cornucopia Flowers, and all the sound equipment came from the fabulous staff at New York Sound and Visual.Floral & Feathers by Cornucopia Florist ©Patrick McMullanWe were so thrilled to have been chosen to be a part of such a worthy cause – preserving the culture, history, heritage & architecture in New Orleans.]]
