We highly recommend this event to locals and out of town guests. The Arts Market of New Orleans occurs on the last Saturday of the month year round for the most part. The arts & crafts for sale ranges from photography to watercolor, jewelry to furniture. In addition to the art, there is always great music, and a variety of wonderful food vendors (Woody’s Tacos, Fry Bar, Crepes a la Cart, to name a few). The art is amazing and the best part is it’s all 100% locally made. We only wish this was what you found daily down at the French Market – but that’s another story. If you are in town today, definitely make it a point to stop by – you won’t be disappointed. ~ clndstnHAPPY 5TH ANNIVERSARY TO THE ARTS MARKET OF NEW ORLEANSFrom it’s beginnings as the Mid City Arts Market in 2004, to the first Arts Market of New Orleans in June 2007, it’s been a great ride.
